Red Chili Pepper Prices in East Kalimantan Highest in the Nation (Friday, June 7, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of red chili peppers (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 85,080 per kg as of Friday, June 7, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 82,510 per kg.

The daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the highest in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 159,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of red chili peppers in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 69,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Kalimantan, the price of red chili peppers was sold at Rp 133,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of red chili peppers in West Kalimantan was Rp 125,000 per kg, East Nusa Tenggara Rp 119,900 per kg, and Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 113,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 16 provinces with red chili pepper sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for red chili peppers are Bali, East Java, and West Sulawesi.
