Sumatera Selatan Food Prices Wednesday (4/12): Rice, Chicken, and Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (4/12/2024) at 12:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and bulk flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, pure beef, medium rice, and packaged flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp100 (1.12%), reaching Rp9,020 per kg. Meanwhile, packaged flour (non-bulk) saw the largest price decrease of Rp100 (0.78%), reaching Rp12,780 per kg.
