Latest Food Prices in Lampung Region: Rice and Chicken Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Lampung today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (16/8/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, mackerel, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, milkfish, garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest at Rp3,580 (11.09%) to Rp35,860 per kg. Milkfish prices decreased the most at Rp1,940 (7.24%) to Rp24,870 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Lampung according to Bapanas on August 16, 2024, at 10:36 WIB.

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,060 per kg (down 0.57%)
9. Milkfish: Rp24,870 per kg (down 7.24%)
