Bali's Latest Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Tuesday, January 30, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (30/1/2024) at 14.36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, milkfish, red chilies, red chilies, and dry soybean seeds (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, shallots, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was dry soybean seeds (import), rising by Rp410 (3.17%) to Rp13,330 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most, dropping by Rp2,660 (10.42%) to Rp22,860 per kg.
