Banten Food Price Update Today: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Sunday, March 24, 2024)

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (24/3/2024) at 13.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, skipjack tuna, iodized fine salt, broiler chicken, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, red chilies, red chili peppers, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish saw the highest increase of Rp3,030 (9.71%) to Rp34,240 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers saw the lowest decrease of Rp3,400 (7.04%) to Rp44,890 per kg.
