Sumatera Selatan Food Prices on Tuesday (August 27th): What's the Price of Beef?

The price of several food commodities in South Sumatra today is observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (27/8/2024) at 10:29 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice (SPHP), medium rice, milkfish, Indian mackerel, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, pure beef, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp520 (1.42%) to Rp37,100 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp3,050 (6.29%) to Rp45,460 per kg.
