Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Friday, March 15, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (15/3/2024) at 10:25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, medium rice, pure beef, broiler chicken, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp590 (2.0%) to Rp30,090 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp2,050 (2.63%) to Rp76,040 per kg.
