The daily price of low-quality grade II rice in Papua Province's modern markets has decreased by 0.64% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Papua Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp15,550 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Papua over the past three months has decreased by 0.64%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Papua Province is traded at Rp15,550 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in August 2023 with an increase of 12.84%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2023 with a decrease of -10.34%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic necessities (sembako) today in Papua show ten commodities decreased and twelve others increased. The basic necessities with decreased prices are: Curly Red Chili, Medium-Sized White Onion, Large Red Chili, White Onion, Red Chili, Rice, Low-Quality Grade I Rice, Low-Quality Grade II Rice, Medium-Quality Grade I Rice, and Medium-Quality Grade II Rice.
