Lampung Food Prices on Tuesday (8/4): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (8/4/2025) at 11:19 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, shallots, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, Indian mackerel, packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of garlic bulbs saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp986 (2.28%) to Rp44,192 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the sharpest decrease, falling by Rp2,310 (6.96%) to Rp30,882 per kg.
