Latest Food Prices in East Java: Red Chili Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (14/4/2025) at 14.04 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, pure beef, packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,456 (3.3%) to Rp45,618 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili pepper prices fell the most sharply by Rp4,100 (5.23%) to Rp74,362 per kg.
