Latest Bali Food Prices: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (14/11/2024) at 11:12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, pure beef, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, garlic cloves, shallots, red chilies, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp940 (3.63%) to Rp26,810 per kg. The price of mackerel experienced the sharpest decrease, down by Rp600 (1.69%) to Rp34,980 per kg.
