Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in Traditional Markets, April 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in traditional markets of Papua province is recorded at Rp24.4 thousand. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, as has been the trend over the past week.

Meanwhile, over the past month, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in traditional markets has also stayed the same at Rp24.4 thousand.

Over the past three months in Papua, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in traditional markets has decreased by 1.61%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, this cooking oil was previously traded at Rp24.8 thousand.

The record price increase for this cooking oil in the province was previously recorded in November 2019 at 50.75%, while the lowest price drop was also recorded in November 2019 at -33.67%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, among the 9 staple foods (sembako) tracked today in Papua, 7 commodities have decreased in price and 13 have increased. The sembako with price drops are Curly Red Chilies, Large Red Chilies, Garlic, Red Chilies, Rice, Medium Quality Rice I and Medium Quality Rice II.
