Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in Traditional Markets, April 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in traditional markets of Papua province is recorded at Rp24.4 thousand. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, as was the case with price developments over the past week.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in traditional markets has not changed from the previously recorded Rp24.4 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in traditional markets of Papua has decreased by 1.61% over the past three months. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in traditional markets of Papua province was traded at Rp24.8 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in traditional markets of this province was previously recorded in November 2019 with a 50.75% rise, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in November 2019 with a 33.67% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, among the nine staple foods (sembako) tracked today in Papua, seven commodities have decreased in price and 13 have increased. The staple foods with price drops are Curly Red Chilies, Large Red Chilies, Garlic, Red Chilies, Rice, Medium Quality I Rice, and Medium Quality II Rice.
