South Sumatra Food Prices Thursday (25/7): Rice and Egg Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (25/7/2024) at 09:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic bulbs, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, SPHP rice, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) commodities saw the highest price increase of Rp320 (2.89%) to Rp11,390 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk wheat flour decreased the most, by Rp280 (3.09%) to Rp8,770 per kg.
