Bali's Current Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (30/12/2024) at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,270 (6.04%) to Rp39,870 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) experienced the largest price decrease, falling Rp260 (2.18%) to Rp11,670 per kg.
