Price of Local Granulated Sugar in Modern Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets of East Kalimantan province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price trend in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp18.05 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets in East Kalimantan over the past three months has increased by 6.59% from the previously recorded Rp16.7 thousand per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2025 with an increase of 17.37%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2017 with a decrease of -20.19%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in East Kalimantan shows that five commodities have decreased and 18 others have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Grade 1 Beef, Chicken Eggs, Curly Red Chili, Fresh Free-Range Chicken Eggs and Local Granulated Sugar.

Below are the prices of nine staple foods monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trend over the past month in East Kalimantan province:
