Price of Medium Quality II Rice in Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta Province is recorded at Rp14,850. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets has increased from Rp14,800.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta over the last three months has increased by 1.71% from the previous price of Rp14,600.

The record high for the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2022 with an increase of 10.17%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2022 with a decrease of -9.16%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta show seven commodities decreased and 17 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Rice in Traditional Markets by Province, Low-Quality I Rice, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the last month in DKI Jakarta Province:
