Garlic Prices in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily garlic price in traditional markets of North Sulawesi province is recorded at Rp45.5 thousand. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day as well as in the last week.

Compared to the last month, the daily garlic price in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp47 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily garlic price in traditional markets in North Sulawesi has fallen 14.39% in the last three months. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily garlic price in traditional markets of North Sulawesi province was traded at Rp53.15 thousand.

The record increase in daily garlic prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2019 with a 31.82% rise, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2019 with a -34.25% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in North Sulawesi show 13 commodities decreased and 11 others increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Super I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 2, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Red Chili, Local Granulated Sugar, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Red Onion, Super II Quality Rice, Cooking Oil, and Rice.
