Garlic Prices in Traditional Markets for the February 2025-2026 Period

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily garlic price in traditional markets of North Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp45,500. This price has remained unchanged compared to the previous day and also over the past week.

Meanwhile, compared to the past month, the daily garlic price in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp47,000 .

Over the past three months, the daily garlic price in traditional markets of North Sulawesi has fallen by 14.39%. Based on historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily garlic price in traditional markets of North Sulawesi Province was traded at Rp53,150.

The record increase in daily garlic prices in traditional markets of this province was previously recorded in March 2019 with a 31.82% rise, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2019 with a -34.25% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in North Sulawesi today show that 13 commodities have decreased and 11 others have increased. The sembako with falling prices are Super I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 2, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Red Chili, Local Granulated Sugar, Medium-sized Red Onion, Red Onion, Super II Quality Rice, Cooking Oil, and Rice.

7. Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat per Kg Rp38,900 per kg (down 11.59%)
8. Grade 1 Beef per Kg Rp147,400 per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp19,900 per kg (up 1.27%)
10. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp77,500 per kg (up 24.8%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 1 per Kg Rp19,850 per kg (up 1.02%)
12. Curly Red Chili per Kg Rp57,150 per kg (down 4.27%)
