World's Richest Young Person 2024 According to Forbes: Red Bull Heir at the Top

According to Forbes, the average billionaire in the world is 66 years old. There are few young billionaires globally.

Despite this, several individuals have become billionaires under the age of 33. This wealth stems from their own ventures or family inheritance.

Mark Mateschitz was listed as the world's richest young person by Forbes as of March 8, 2024.

The Red Bull heir's total wealth is estimated at US$39.6 billion, or approximately Rp627.22 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp15,839 per US$), at the age of 31.

In second place is John Collison, a 33-year-old with a net worth of US$7.2 billion, or approximately Rp114.04 trillion.

Most of his wealth comes from Stripe, a unicorn company he founded with his brother, Patrick. In 2016, a funding round valued Stripe at Rp9.2 billion. This made him the youngest self-made billionaire in the world at the age of 26.

Firoz Mistry and his brother, Zahan Mistry, rank third as the world's richest young people this year.

The Mistry brothers' wealth comes from their 4.6% stake in Tata Sons, an Indian conglomerate that owns 29 publicly traded companies. They inherited this stake in 2022 after the death of their father and grandfather.
