Today's Food Prices (Jan 30) in DKI Jakarta: Onion and Cayenne Pepper Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) as of Friday (Jan 30, 2026) at 15.48 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were Honan garlic, shallots, hindquarter beef, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, large red chili, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest increase of Rp5,750 (8.78%) to Rp71,250 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili experienced the deepest decrease of Rp783 (1.65%) to Rp46,667 per kg.

2. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp71,250 per kg (up 8.78%)
3. Shallots: Rp47,800 per kg (up 3.02%)
4. Large Red Chili: Rp46,667 per kg (down 1.65%)
5. Curly Red Chili: Rp46,250 per kg (down 0.54%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp40,667 per kg (up 0.25%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,675 per kg (stable)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,500 per kg (stable)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,500 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,500 per liter (stable)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,275 per kg (stable)
