Latest West Sumatra Food Prices: Chicken Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (29/6/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, milkfish, premium rice, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,420 (10.83%) to Rp35,000 per kg. Mackerel experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp4,210 (8.9%) to Rp43,110 per kg.
