Current Food Prices in Jambi Province: Rice, Chili, and Sugar Prices Increase

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (12/12/2024) at 11:44 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 4 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, chicken eggs, shallots, chicken meat, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, premium rice, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp3,380 (13.75%) to Rp27,960 per kg. The price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the largest decrease, dropping Rp360 (2.77%) to Rp12,630 per kg.
