Banten Food Price Update Today: Egg and Sugar Prices Rise (Sunday, February 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (18/2/2024) at 13.12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, chicken eggs, shallots, skipjack tuna, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp6,280 (23.3%) to Rp33,230 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the least by Rp2,370 (2.98%) to Rp77,120 per kg.
