Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (14/12/2024) at 14.27 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, red chilies, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, shallot bulbs, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp4,320 (12.97%) to Rp37,620 per kg. Milkfish prices decreased the most, by Rp600 (2.16%) to Rp27,200 per kg.
