Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Oil and Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (22/12/2024) at 14:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased in price and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are curly red chilies, red chili peppers, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,840 (5.96%), reaching Rp50,480 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,710 (4.57%), reaching Rp35,730 per kg.
