Today's Food Prices in East Java: Chili and Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (10/9/2024) at 11:25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp250 (4.52%), reaching Rp5,780 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt decreased the most sharply by Rp520 (5.39%), reaching Rp9,130 per kg.
