Today's Food Prices, December 05, in DKI Jakarta: Red Chili and Onion Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (5/12/2025) at 17:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include curly red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk palm cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, large red chili, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp1,850 (2.24%) to Rp84,600 per kg. The price of large red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp750 (1.04%) to Rp71,500 per kg.
