Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Cooking Oil Up, Chicken Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (25/12/2024) at 14:19 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, chicken eggs, curly red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, garlic cloves, and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp2,690 (15.54%) to Rp20,000 per liter. Chicken meat experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp11,500 (29.87%) to Rp27,000 per kg.

2. Red Chilies: Rp70,000 per kg (up 13.6%)
3. Curly Red Chilies: Rp60,000 per kg (up 5.45%)
4. Red Onions: Rp50,000 per kg (up 4.8%)
5. Garlic Cloves: Rp40,000 per kg (down 5.59%)
6. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (down 1.44%)
7. Milkfish: Rp32,000 per kg (down 22.52%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp32,000 per kg (up 2.01%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 16.06%)
10. Chicken Meat: Rp27,000 per kg (down 29.87%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp21,000 per liter (up 9.03%)
