Current Food Prices in Jambi: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (24/7/2024) at 12:33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chili peppers, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,210 (1.9%) to Rp64,790 per kg. Milkfish prices decreased the most, by Rp520 (1.89%) to Rp26,980 per kg.
