Food Prices on Monday (February 17th) in Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday, February 17th, 2025, at 13:42 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, dry soybeans (import), SPHP rice, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for granulated salt, up by Rp596 (5.29%) to Rp11,867 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was for shallots, down by Rp5,000 (15.83%) to Rp26,577 per kg.
