Banten Region Food Prices Friday (7/6): Rice and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (7/6/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp600 (5.57%), reaching Rp11,370 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp860 (11.48%), reaching Rp6,630 per kg.

7. Red Chili Peppers: Rp34,570 per kg (down 7.19%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,270 per kg (up 5.35%)
9. Milkfish: Rp32,010 per kg (down 0.25%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,200 per kg (down 0.63%)
