Food Prices on Monday (July 15th) in Yogyakarta Special Region: Beef and Chili Prices Increase

Food prices in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (15/7/2024) at 12.25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, garlic bulbs, broiler chicken, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp7,530 (14.88%) to Rp58,140 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price decrease of Rp2,580 (9.67%) to Rp24,090 per kg.
