Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Chili Peppers Up, Salt Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (11/4/2025) at 15.04 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), shallots, farmer-level corn, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, curly red chilies, packaged wheat flour, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp1,604 (1.86%), reaching Rp88,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of table salt saw the largest decrease of Rp219 (2.0%), reaching Rp10,724 per kg.
