Current Food Prices in Bali: Prices of Salt, Onions, and Rice Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (23/6/2024) at 10:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,960 (19.96%) to Rp11,780 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp3,730 (12.73%) to Rp25,560 per kg.
