Latest Food Prices in West Sumatra Region, What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (28/6/2024) at 10.07 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic cloves, bulk wheat flour, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), farmer-level corn, shallots, pure beef, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, up Rp1,530 (4.03%) to Rp39,500 per kg. The price of red chili peppers experienced the steepest decline, down Rp16,110 (31.52%) to Rp35,000 per kg.
