Medium-Sized Red Onion Prices in Traditional Markets, February 2025-2026 Period

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets of DKI Jakarta province is recorded at Rp66,600. This price is up Rp4,850 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp41,750.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta over the past three months has increased by 45.26% from the previously traded Rp45,850.

The record increase in the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2024 with an increase of 38.63%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2022 with a decrease of -22.78%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in DKI Jakarta show seven commodities have decreased and 17 others have increased. The sembako with decreasing prices are Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Rice in Traditional Markets by Province, Low Quality I Rice, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Fresh Layer Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, and Fresh Green Bird's Eye Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province.

5. Large Red Chilies per Kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp73,650 (up 12.44%)
