Current Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Chilies, Chicken, and Beef Drop

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (February 11, 2025) at 13:05 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), packaged cooking oil, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, shallots, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp116 (0.64%), reaching Rp18,317 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp2,752 (6.13%), reaching Rp42,155 per kg.
