Sugar Prices in Modern Markets of Central Sulawesi Province Decreased by 0.23% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:23 PM WIB, the daily price of granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Sulawesi Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of granulated sugar in modern markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp21,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Sulawesi over the last three months has increased by 9.79% from the previous record of Rp19,400 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of granulated sugar in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in August 2017 with an increase of 23.46%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a decrease of -24.92%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Sulawesi show nine commodities decreased and nine others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Green Chili, Granulated Sugar, Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Fresh Chicken Meat, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, and Chili.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the last month in Central Sulawesi Province:

2. Red Chili per kg: Rp120,450 per kg (down 23.98%)
3. Green Chili per kg: Rp99,950 per kg (down 8.26%)
4. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp21,400 per kg (up 4.14%)
5. Granulated Sugar per kg: Rp21,300 per kg (down 0.23%)
6. Garlic per kg: Rp53,500 per kg (up 2.88%)
7. Medium Quality Rice I per kg: Rp16,750 per kg (unchanged)
8. Beef per kg: Rp152,300 per kg (up 1.5%)
9. Chicken Meat per kg: Rp55,050 per kg (down 5.57%)
10. Quality 1 Beef per kg: Rp177,450 per kg (unchanged)
11. Quality 2 Beef per kg: Rp127,100 per kg (up 3.67%)
12. Chicken Eggs per kg: Rp38,350 per kg (down 0.65%)
13. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per kg: Rp19,900 per kg (up 4.74%)
