Red Chili Prices in North Sulawesi Increased by 21.77% in a Week

The price of red chili peppers in North Sulawesi reached Rp 77,200 per kg on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Compared to other regions, this area saw the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of red chili peppers in North Sulawesi increased by 21.77% within a week.

Compared to the price 30 days prior, the price of red chili peppers in this region has increased by 63.39%.

However, over the past year, the selling price of red chili peppers in North Sulawesi's modern markets has actually decreased. The previous highest record reached Rp 125,900 per kg.

From January to March 2022, the price of red chili peppers in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 63.39% compared to the previous month.
