Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Cooking Oil, Onions, and Chilies Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (4/12/2024) at 13:59 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, premium rice, curly red chilies, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was bulk wheat flour, up by Rp370 (4.22%) to Rp9,140 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was for curly red chilies, down by Rp560 (3.3%) to Rp16,400 per kg.
