Indonesia's Daily Food Price List: Rice and Oil Prices Drop (Wednesday, April 3, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (3/4/2024) at 12:39 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, shallots, milkfish, shallot bulbs, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, medium rice, dry soybean (import), and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp380 (1.06%) to Rp36,190 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp590 (1.84%) to Rp31,540 per kg.
