Daily Beef Prices in Modern Markets Across Maluku Province Have Fallen 6.6% Over the Past Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily price of beef in Maluku province's modern markets showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of beef in modern markets has decreased from Rp165,900 per kg.

Over the past three months, the daily price of beef in Maluku's modern markets has fallen by 6.6%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of beef in Maluku province's modern markets is traded at Rp165,900 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of beef in the province's modern markets was in July 2021, with a 59.16% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2019, at -42.04%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Maluku show 13 commodities decreased and eight increased. The commodities with decreased prices are Garlic, Rice, Cooking Oil, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Beef, Grade I Super Rice, Grade II Inferior Rice, Red Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Medium-Sized Garlic, Grade 2 Beef, Curly Red Chili, and Chicken Meat.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in Maluku province:

6. Cooking Oil per kg Rp20,800 (down 11.11%)
7. Fresh Broiler Chicken per kg Rp51,450 (down 1.91%)
8. Beef per kg Rp154,950 (down 6.6%)
9. Grade I Super Rice per kg Rp16,900 (down 1.17%)
10. Grade II Medium Rice per kg Rp17,200 (unchanged)
11. Grade II Inferior Rice per kg Rp16,700 (down 2.05%)
12. Fresh Layer Eggs per kg Rp40,900 (up 6.93%)
13. Red Chili per kg Rp54,000 (down 26.23%)
14. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per kg Rp20,850 (down 22.35%)
