Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (February 11, 2025) at 13:17 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, shallots, packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, chicken meat, curly red chilies, medium rice, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,118 (2.52%), reaching Rp45,412 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp5,294 (8.65%), reaching Rp55,882 per kg.
