Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili, Rice, and Egg Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (19/9/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, garlic bulbs, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish surged the highest by Rp2,560 (6.73%) to Rp40,580 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots decreased the most by Rp1,050 (4.78%) to Rp20,930 per kg.
