Food Prices Wednesday (February 5th) in Yogyakarta: Oil and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have been observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, at 17:09 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 9 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), medium rice, iodized fine salt, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp4,188 (7.19%) to Rp62,438 per kg. Packaged wheat flour experienced the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp284 (2.41%) to Rp11,520 per kg.
