Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Salt Up, Fish Down (Wednesday, November 29, 2023)

Food prices in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (29/11/2023) at 10:30 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest increase, jumping 5.07% or Rp560 to Rp11,600 per kg.

Next, shallots and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) each increased by 2.84% or Rp1,150 to Rp41,600 per kg and 2.47% or Rp320 to Rp13,280 per kg, respectively.

The price of bulk wheat flour increased by Rp230 or 2.26% to Rp10,390 per kg, the price of simple packaged cooking oil increased by Rp310 or 1.79% to Rp17,590 per liter, and the price of chicken eggs increased by Rp340 or 1.23% to Rp28,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish decreased by 10.98% or Rp4,380 to Rp35,520 per kg, the lowest price decrease today in DKI Jakarta.

The price of mackerel was recorded at Rp33,250 per kg, down 9.4%, the price of skipjack tuna decreased to Rp33,020 per kg from Rp36,250 per kg previously, and the price of dry soybean (import) decreased by Rp660 to Rp11,000 per kg.
