Food Prices in Banten Thursday (7/8): Salt Prices Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (August 7, 2025) at 11:07 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are packaged wheat flour, dried soybean seeds (imported), curly red chili, Minyakita, and frozen buffalo meat (foreign imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn at the farmer level, fresh buffalo meat (local), broiler eggs, pure beef, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour commodity rose the highest by Rp500 (5.26%) to Rp10,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level dropped the deepest by Rp7,917 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
