Latest Food Prices in Aceh: Eggs Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (August 22, 2025) at 08:34 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 8 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases include bulk wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, milkfish, consumption salt, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as fresh buffalo meat (local), pure beef, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Imported dried soybean seeds saw the highest increase of Rp970 (8.79%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices dropped the most by Rp36,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp37,667 per kg (up 0.27%)

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 10.02%)
