Cooking Oil Prices in Traditional Markets for the March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets in Papua province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

As for the price in the last month, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp20.95 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets in Papua over the last three months has decreased by 0.47%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets in Papua province is traded at Rp21.4 thousand.

The record increase in daily cooking oil prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2022 with a 24% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2022 with a -17.73% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods in Papua show that eight commodities have decreased and another eight have increased. The staple foods with decreased prices are Bird's Eye Chili, Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Curly Red Chili, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Rice, Super I Quality Rice, and Chicken Meat.
