Red Chili Prices in North Sulawesi Highest in Indonesia (Monday, March 7, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of large red chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 73,660 per kg as of Monday, March 7, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 72,720 per kg.

The daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in North Sulawesi was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 93,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of large red chilies in this province is lower. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 101,050 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands, the price of large red chilies was sold at Rp 92,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of large red chilies in East Kalimantan was Rp 91,150 per kg, Jambi Rp 89,900 per kg, and West Kalimantan Rp 84,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are six provinces with large red chili sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for large red chilies are North Maluku, East Java, and Bali.
